Problem
A national infrastructure-scale hydrogen programme in FEED was not set up to support the forward programme. The contractor was struggling to meet contractual requirements for programme controls and scheduling outputs, and to manage key sub-contractors effectively.
Intervention
We partnered with a tier 1 contractor supporting a strategic pipeline partner, providing programme management, controls and commercial management support in an event recovery scenario.
Outcomes
- Revised, reviewed and re-baselined a fully integrated programme, achieving a client-approved baseline within six weeks of engagement
- Captured all costs and resources required to deliver the FEED phase and every DCO and consenting deliverable
- Subsequently engaged to support the domestic and industrial sub-programmes in preparation for the EPC phase
