Problem
The development and manufacture of a full-scale mock-up of a reactor primary system spanned multiple suppliers and contractors, under strict innovation-funding reporting requirements.
Intervention
We partnered with a tier 1 contractor and AMR consortium partner, providing specialist programme management and controls support across the whole programme.
Outcomes
- Established, developed and managed a fully integrated project and programme level schedule spanning every facet of the programme, across multiple suppliers and contractors
- Managed and controlled actual costs and their alignment to key scope elements, satisfying strict Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund and HMG innovation funding reporting requirements
- The full-scale mock-up was delivered on time and below budget
